For this role, we’ll look to you to:

• Visualize and create graphics, illustrations, logos, layouts and photos
• Concept, sketch, design packaging /plush ideas
• Develop product concepts through final design sheets, including full plush turn-a-round layouts and color calls
• Layout creative presentations, and retail pitch decks
• Collaborate with design manager and sales team to design and approve products
• Coordinate product submissions for creative reviews and approvals with design team
• Research initial seasonal and market trends
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications

The gross annual salary range is $60,000 - $66,650. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.

Qualifications

Experience/Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge and interest of toy industry trends, leading brands, products, and what’s emerging.
• Bachelor's Degree in related field (e.g. industrial design, toy design, fashion design, graphic design) or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge in hardlines/softlines categories (e.g. raw materials, plastic, textiles, print, pattern, graphic composition, manufacturing)
• Product design skills (e.g. 3D product design, sketching, creative application and manipulation of art, final mechanical art, fabric and trim identification)
• Excellent Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for toys and children’s products is essential to be effective in the role
• Ability to occasionally travel to trade shows, etc.
